Let's Round Numbers!

Many times, we come across very large numbers that aren't so easy to work with in our heads. An easy way to use these numbers is by rounding them.

Try this activity. Look at the number in the shell, and pick the number to the right that is closest to it. After selecting your answer, push the back button to return to this blog.

Now that you have had some practice, come up with a list of several ways rounding could help you. Ask your mom and dad, or other adults, how they use rounding in their lives.
